Adoptable ​Cats and Kittens

We try to keep this forum as up-to-date as possible, but please feel free to stop by, check out our Facebook page, or email/call/text us to verify adoptable pets.
Especially between about June or July and December, we have too many kittens to keep updated on this page.

​Our adoption fee is:
$125 per kitten - (Up to 9 months old)
$100 per cat - (9 months old - 9 years old)
$75 per senior - (10+ years old)
Bonded Pairs - 25% off total

**Reduced fees may apply to cats with Special Needs
​All adoptable cats and kittens are:
Spayed/ Neutered
Treated for fleas and worms
Have 1st FVRCP vaccine
Test negative for FeLV/FIV

Grace

Female, tabby, long-hair, (middle-aged adult): Grace welcomes attention and affection. Her temperament is sugary sweet! If you're looking for a loving companion, you've found the right cat in Grace. Currently, she is being treated for a flea allergy. We're looking forward to her feathers coming in!

Ember

Male, tabby, mid-length fur, kitten (9 months): Ember is a bashful boy. He prefers to stay on the sidelines and watch the other kittens' shenanigans. He can, however, be allured by cat toys and gentle greetings. He's syrupy-sweet and in need of a bit of encouragement for his transition into his fur-ever home.

Traveler

Female, tortie, short-hair, (young, adult): Traveler is a barn kitty. Although she hisses at everyone she meets, she does allow gentle touch and comes out for food. People are often taken with her small size and immense beauty.

Misty

Female, tabby, short-hair, (adult): Misty is as elusive as her name. She is a barn kitty who loves to play. She is not quite ready for touch but she is ready for her fur-ever home. She's sweet and timid. Although she's easily spooked, she never hisses. She can often be found sleeping under the covers with her boyfriend, Sedge.

Ruthie

Female, black, long-hair, (young adult): Ruthie's golden eyes will mesmerize you. Despite being cautious around new people, she is easily won over with gentle touch and play. Her tender nature is sure to steal anyone's heart.

Pepper (in Foster)

Male, tuxedo, short-hair, (middle-aged adult): Pepper adores attention, and he'll be the first to say so! His vocals will let you know exactly how happy he is to see you. He's kind and cuddly and adores sitting in the window. His favorite way to spend the day is hanging out with his sister Frankie!

Frankie (in Foster)

Female, siamese, short-hair, (middle-aged adult): Frankie is a relaxed, mature girl who only leaves her cubby for attention and affection. Although she loves her brother, Pepper, she turns her nose up at other cats. She will thrive in a home alone or with her brother. Together, they make a wonderful, self sufficient pair.

Hunter (Adopted)

Male, black, medium-hair, (adult): Hunter is the purrfect boy for any home. He's funny, playful, affectionate, and as handsome as they come. He's good with children and cats. When dog tested, he was cautious but friendly. With a proper introduction, he could be your puppy's new friend!

Silvia

Female, tuxedo, short-hair, (middle aged adult): Silvia is the life of the party. She gets along with every cat she greets and every person she meets! You can find her at your feet! She's affectionate and silly and loves being in the mix. If you're looking for a companion to liven up your life, this superstar is the gal for you!

Cappuccino

Male, black, short-hair, (young adult): Cappuccino has been with us from kittenhood. He was often overlooked because he stayed hidden. He has grown in boldness and playfulness. He now can be found in the middle of the mix! He's the perfect cat for any home and enjoys the company of children and other pets! (Cappuccino has not been dog tested.)

Sassy (foster only)

Female, tuxedo, medium-hair, (adult): Sassy's name and picture is the perfect description of her personality. She's engaging, playful, a tad rambunctious, and very affectionate. Given a window of opportunity, she will demand lots of attention! She loves talking about herself.

Kittens

Currently, we have one black kitten and one gray kitten! If you're interested in adopting one (or many!), please submit an application! You can keep up with the kittens by watching our Facebook, coming in on Saturdays, or by contacting us to arrange a time to meet them!

Mamba

Female, tuxedo, long-hair, (adult): Mamba is a feisty baby. Although she's had kittens of her own, she's never had the chance to be one herself. She gets along with just about any cat and would love to be adopted with her best buddy Tang.

Pixie

Female, white, short-hair, adult (unknown): Pixie was found abandoned and in rough shape. She is timid upon greeting, yet adores affection and attention. She's looking for someone she can learn to trust. She would thrive in a stable home and gets along with all cats, kittens, and dogs.

Sedge

Male, Siamese, long-hair, (adult): Sedge and his brother Aster are wonder stories. They came to HART as a wild band of brothers and have been tamed into purrfect gentlemen. Sedge takes delight in playing with the kittens and snuggling up to his girlfriend, Misty. Sedge enjoys being brushed in the sun.

*Please note that Sedge has never lived in a home, only on the streets and at HART. He will need special attention and an abundance of patience as he transitions into his first-ever forever home.

Nicco 

Male, black, short-hair, adult (middle-aged adult): Nicco is a shy, gentle boy who welcomes love and affection. His disposition is so sweet, he lives with the kittens. He's quick to meet your touch with purrs and belly rubs.

Sylvester

Male, tuxedo, short-hair, adult (5 years): Sylvester is a rough-and-tumble rambunctious boy with a soft middle. He's famous for his mug and his hugs. He's been given the nickname of batman. His playful antics can be intimidating until you realize his snaps are just love bites. Sylvester gets along with other cats, but is no fan of dogs. You can find Sylvester in the window, prepared to greet everyone who walks through the door.

Tang

Male, tuxedo, short-hair, (young adult): This handsome boy is all dressed up for a party. Tang is a bit shy upon greeting, yet is won over with toys and a gentle touch. He has grown in purrsonality and affection since coming to us a year ago. He prefers older women which is why Mamba is his bestie.

Helen

Female, tuxedo, short-hair, (young adult): Helen is a kitty in progress. She has a hard time meeting people. Although she came into HART as a shy and fearful kitty, she's slowly becoming affectionate and trusting. Her best friends are Misty and Traveler. Although her besties are barn kitties, we believe she'll continue to grow into a fur-ever domestic home.

Magpie

Female, tabby, short-hair, (young adult): This tender girl is still learning to trust people. In her time at HART, she has warmed up to the volunteers and becomes more affectionate every day. Given a chance in a patient, loving home, this little tigress is sure to blossom into a purrfect lady.

Guinevere

Female, grey tuxedo, short-hair (young adult): Guinevere is a beautiful, shy kitty. She's just beginning to trust people and would love a patient home that can teach her what love means. She would make a wonderful foster cat.

Male, tabby, short-hair, (senior): This gentleman is incredibly calm and kind. He comes out of his cubby to say hi at the drop of a dime! He welcomes attention and affection. He's the perfect cat for a mature home.

Female, tortoiseshell, short-hair, (senior): This beautiful tortie longs for love and affection. Although somewhat shy, Emma quickly warms up to anyone who is willing to give her some affection. Given the opportunity, she will nudge you for more pets!

Leo

Male, orange tabby, short, adult (5-7 years). Leo is a saucy guy who adores affection. He will demand your full attention. This handsome guy loves the ladies but needs be the only man in your life. He can be snarky and mark-y around other male cats. Leo has been a HART kitty for a long time because he away from frequent visitors. If you want this handsome guy, his foster would be delighted to invite you over for a visit.
